Citizens’ associations can participate in President Meri’s funeral ceremony

Citizens’ associations of social importance and having long traditions, such as academic student organisations, can participate in the guard of honour by President Meri’s coffin in the Kaarli church and at the ceremony to be held in Kadriorg on the day of President Meri’s funeral.

You should communicate your wish to participate in the guard of honour in the Kaarli church on Saturday, 25 March, to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs: schwenn.seene@vm.ee or by phone: +372 5048 144, +372 6377 500
Please note that one shift will last 20 minutes and at least four representatives from each organisation are required to participate in the guard of honour.

At the ceremony scheduled to take place in Kadriorg, on Sunday, 26 March, citizens’ associations may display their flags. Please submit your wish to the Border Guard Administration starting from Monday:
